III. Support Traditional Family Rallies
Ever since the U.S. Supreme Court declared prayer(1962) and Bible
reading(1963) in public schools as unconstitutional, we have witnessed the
drastic decline of faith and morality in America.
In February of 2004, the Mayor of San Francisco unlawfully issued over 4,000
marriage licenses to same-sex couples! The State of Massachusetts acted
likewise. In the same year Chinese churches all over America decided to
speak up for Biblical truth and held open-air rallies in San Francisco
(April), Los Angeles (June) and Flushing, New York (September).
Praise the Lord, American churches and mission organizations jointly
sponsored a Mayday For Marriage rally in Washington D.C. on October 15,
2004. Over 100,000 Christians from all over the country attended including
almost 7,000 Chinese Christians who arrived by caravans of cars bearing
gospel signs from all corners of the nation.

1. Public announcement after meeting with Mayor Newsom
Before the open-air rally, 30
multi-racial pastors visited San Francisco Mayor Newsom and urged him to
stop issuing same-sex marriage certificates and repent to God. Afterwards,
Rev. Thomas Wang spoke to the crowd in front of San Francisco City Hall.
